Speak It.

I think about the Lord’s Prayer, the line that says “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We live in a fallen and sinful world. There is evil all around us. In this book she talks about how we are the Gatekeepers of the territory we’ve been given. We are the gatekeepers over our families, our schools, our places of work, our City, our State, every space that you are involved in, every place you go, every relationship you have, you have been given the assignment and authority to protect and speak God’s heart and plans over it prophetically and through prayer. And if we don’t, it’s an open door for the enemy to take over that territory. So when praying “your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” we should not just ask God to move, but declare God’s will and His heart over it as if it’s already in motion, speak it prophetically over that situation.

God Is Coming For His Flock

I believe that this is not only a word for The Church, but a word for our Nation. This is a text filled with HOPE. For He knows His sheep have been scattered and lost. Many in leadership have abused, neglected, and used others for their personal gain and the Lord has had enough.

A Safe Place

You have not been forgotten, no, but rather, you’ve been strategically placed for a time, in a place where you will have access to significant nourishment, wisdom, and relationship with your Heavenly Father. When you think of your season of waiting as a safe place rather than a confined punishment or a dark tunnel that has no end in sight, you might just begin to enjoy it. Whatever it is that you’re waiting for, a new job or career, a spouse, a financial breakthrough, healing, a child..the list could go on, but whatever it is, know that you’re in a safe place as the Lord goes before you to work things out.

The Power of a Multitude

I want to be like a sunflower. My head held high, always looking towards the sun. Never once thinking about competing with the others in the field with me but confidently owning who I am and knowing the beauty and the power of a multitude of us standing together.

What's The One Thing?

I looked outside and saw that it was snowing. Huge snowflakes were falling from the sky ever so slowly. They were more so floating down rather than falling. As I was watching I began to single in on one snowflake and try to watch it float all the way to the ground. I thought it would be easy because they were moving so slow, but I quickly found that it wasn’t very easy at all. The flake would float down then to the side and then zoom up and begin its downward fall again, while being surrounded by a million other giant white flakes. My eye quickly lost track of the one I was trying to follow. I tried this a few times before I felt The Lord speak again.

What Is It And Why Are You Holding On So Tight?

On hopes & dreams : "I feel like so many of us, when we hear "give it to God" we tend to maybe hold on to it just a little bit tighter because the impression we get is that we're putting the idea to rest and will never see it again. And maybe in some cases that is true and that is what needs to happen. But have you ever thought that giving Him your hopes and dreams might be the best thing you could ever do?"
